The new year is off to a flying start at Rose Catering. We’re enjoying one of our busiest starts to the year yet, with our teams on location across the UK, from Edinburgh to London, the Cotswolds to Manchester. With long-running productions already in full swing and more on the horizon, we’re ready to bring top-quality location catering wherever it’s needed.

One of the things that sets us apart is our ability to cater anywhere. Whether it’s the outer Hebrides or St Ives, our teams are prepared to travel across the UK to keep your cast and crew fuelled. No matter the conditions, we make sure that every meal is fresh, hot, and served on time.

Our Expert Team: More Than Just Great Food

Behind every great meal is a dedicated team, working hard to keep everything running smoothly.

• Chefs – Our chefs are all Level 2 Health & Hygiene trained, ensuring every meal is prepared with skill and care. With backgrounds in private jets, five-star hotels, and award-winning TV and film productions, they bring a wealth of experience to every set.
• Fleet & Logistics – Our large fleet of mobile kitchens is maintained to the highest standards and managed under the guidance of the Traffic Commissioner. This allows us to operate smoothly 365 days a year, no matter the location.
• Hot Boxing – Need a meal delivered straight to set? Our hot boxing service means we can bring fresh, hot food directly to you—even if you’re filming on a remote beach or deep in the countryside.
• Office Team – While our kitchen teams are on the road, our office staff work tirelessly behind the scenes. From logistics and recruitment to accounting and supplies, they ensure that every kitchen is stocked and every production runs seamlessly.

What’s on the Menu?

Our catering isn’t just about feeding people—it’s about creating meals that bring people together and keep energy levels high.

Breakfast – The most important meal of the day. Whether it’s a full English, a continental spread, or a grab-and-go option, we make sure every morning starts the right way.

Lunch – A warm, hearty meal is essential, especially with unpredictable British weather. We offer multiple hot options, fresh salads, and a selection of desserts to keep teams fuelled for the afternoon ahead.

Afternoon Tea – Whether you need hot snacks, traditional sandwiches, or sweet treats, we provide the pick-me-up needed to keep everyone going.

Dietary Requirements – Everyone should enjoy mealtimes, no matter their dietary needs. Led by our Director & General Manager, Ellie Beaton, a trained Nutritional Therapist, our team ensures that every dish is inclusive, delicious, and carefully considered.

• Sustainability Policy – We adhere to a comprehensive sustainability and environmental policy that guides our decisions on purchasing, preparation, and waste disposal. This policy ensures we operate as ‘green’ as possible, from our food sources to waste management.
• Eco-Friendly Practices – To reduce our carbon footprint, we use a central supplier and ensure full traceability within our supply chain. We prioritise the use of seasonal, locally sourced food and employ recyclable products wherever possible. All our disposables are supplied by Vegware, made from plants and fully compostable.
• Collaborations for a Greener Future – Our teams have collaborated on numerous productions certified by Albert, an organisation uniting the film and TV sectors to tackle environmental impact and inspire sustainable futures. This partnership reflects our dedication to adhering to industry-leading sustainability protocols and practices.
